Chris Wolff is the Chief Executive Officer of Vertical Data. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Chris worked in software development positions with IBM and NCR before entering the information industry by joining Lexis-Nexis in 1984. Chris moved to Thomson Corporation in 1993 and held senior leadership positions at Thomson Legal Publishing where he drove breakthroughs in categorization, machine learning and natural language processing technologies. He was heavily involved with the acquisition on West Publishing. Chris ascended to VP of Publishing Technology at West, where he managed more than 1,000 employees and was central to the integration of West into Thomson. He was later named VP of Architecture and Standards for all of Thomson. Most recently, Chris was the Global Chief Technology Officer at ProQuest Business Solutions where he oversaw development groups in Ohio, Florida, California, England, Russia and India.
